Anne Tanner is a visionary, an inspired artist of invention. As a young person, she showed great talent and creativity in both music and art.

Always relentless in her pursuit of knowledge, she devoted her time in exploring, researching and creating her own techniques, which would eventually enable her to produce the evocative creations we now see.

Her formal art education was received in art colleges in London and specialised art courses in England but her inborn individualism, free spirit and strong personality together with the conviction of her personal authenticity conflicted with formal artistic constraints and dogma and she pursued her own path to enlightenment.

Anne Tanner speaks about her work "Nature and Life is interrupted by the true artist at any moment in time in order to absorb an image and recreate it. That in fact is the essence of my work. My art is a major part of my life, my emotions, happiness, joy and sadness."

Her latest Kinetic work with her Sculpted Paintings and Aluminium Sculptures express her vital emotion and imagination. They evoke eternal movement,flamboyant lightness of existence and show her inner joy of life.

She has exhibited in countries around the world and her art is to be found in many private and corporate art collections worldwide.
